This site offers Science project ideas in all Science disciplines. There are many projects that use readily available materials or low cost materials. Students should be encouraged to keep a journal or notebook. Students can also plan and carry out an independent investigation based on what they have available at home.
MNJA'S Dante! can be found on page 78-85 of the Teaching About the Mi'kmaq Resource. This story is about a young man and the intergenerational effects of the Indian Residential School System in Canada. This includes thought-provoking questions and extension activities suitable for grades 7-9.
