In response to school closures, Think Indigenous founder, Chris Scribe, launched a Facebook group that provides daily online learning opportunities for children K-8 from Indigenous educators that have come together across Turtle Island.
Digital Mi'kmaq is a fun, interactive science-based educational learning resource for communities and their youth with outdoor learning opportunities for students of all ages to enjoy. Interwoven throughout, this Backyard Science themed series will also be sharing some of the very distinctive knowledge, words, stories and art of the Mi’kmaq People. This resource was designed to meet the educational standards of the Province’s Science Learning Outcomes.

This site offers over 1000 videos and activities in many subject areas including Science. Instructions, worksheets, quizzes, etc can be downloaded, printed, or written out by hand. Students should be encouraged to keep a journal for their inquiry-based science activities.

Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. Khan Academy tackles math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Their math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps.
