On April 3rd school superintendent Laurie Keoughan and District 16 technology mentors Rick Hayward and Joey Savoy hosted a delegation of four staff members from Colegio Williams, a well established private school located in Mexico City. The visiting educators were in Miramichi to explore opportunities for student exchanges and collaborative learning projects. Following the welcome from Mr. Keoughan the guests were given a presentation that demonstrated some of the ways in which technology is used in District 16 schools to support classroom learning. Included in the photo to the left are Mr. Keoughan (back row, centre), the four visitors from Colegio Williams, teachers from District 2, representatives of Atlantic Education International as well as District 16 staff.
