On Thursday, November 24^th.  Lord Beaverbrook School (LBS) held their 5^th annual food drive for the Restigouche County Volunteer Action Association (RCVAA).

 In support of Family Violence Prevention Month, LBS in conjunction with other community schools formed a Human Link with students, staff and community members. The Human Link is a symbol of collective support and was formed from LBS to the Food Bank; donated items were passed from one person to another along the link.  Thank you to everyone who took part in this community project.  A special thank you to our community partners Atlantic Superstore, CKNB radio station and the Campbellton Tigers hockey team.   

The Human Link was a huge success again this year with LBS collecting 900 pounds of food valued at $2300.  LBS strives to engage our students to be active citizens, ready to lend a helping hand.  Way to go LBS!
