Upwards of 50 elementary school students gathered recently at Croft Elementary School in Miramichi to determine who are the best spellers. Nine elementary schools participated in the ASD-N Spelling Bee for grade levels kindergarten through grade 5 on Friday May 29th. The earnest young spellers were fully engaged and made their best efforts, writing boards in hand, listening carefully and taking on the challenge of some very difficult words as the competition progressed. Gretna Green, Harkins Elementary, Millerton, Natoaganeg, Nelson Rural, NSEE and Tabusintac.
