Finance and Workplace Math students from Bathurst High School had the opportunity to visit Supreme Homes in Tracadie Sheila to see the complete “finish to end” build for new modular homes. Tour guide Daniel Dugas discussed the Inspiration, planning, and construction for these homes. STEAM team Haley Doucet and Meghan Wilbur provided the students with real world applications within the classroom as part of their curricular outcomes. Students were introduced to various workplace components such as plumbing, electrical, construction, carpentry, drywall, architecture, design, and technology. Supreme homes employ 200 people and continues to grow within Canada.
