The 2020 Chaleur Turnaround Achievement Awards recognizes youth from our local schools who have overcome multiple barriers as a result of their effort, commitment, and perseverance and turned their situation around in a positive way.   As well, it also recognizes the unsung heroes – the teachers and/or counsellors - who spend the time, effort and contribute to the youth’s journey to self-reliance.   In light of the circumstance surrounding COVID-19, and its necessary precautionary measures, we cannot host the traditional banquet associated with this worthy recognition.  We believe, however; that it is imperative that we publicly acknowledge and celebrate these well-deserving youths.
