Students in Anglophone North School District have taken Valentine’s Day to heart, and are helping to share the love – from a distance.

Students from many Bathurst area schools have put a lot of creativity and heart into creating special Valentines for nearly 300 seniors living in local care homes.   The students wanted to connect with seniors who may be feeling lonely and missing visits, and let those seniors know that they are in their thoughts.  And the students were just as excited to make them, as the seniors will surely be to receive them! Deliveries have been taking place all this week, and the surprise Valentines have been a hit so far.  After all, loving thoughts are what Valentine’s Day is all about.
