Students from all grade levels and at all schools throughout Anglophone North School District have been opening their hearts and their minds this Truth and Reconciliation Week.

They are learning and reflecting and practicing. Through their discussions and class activities, they are gaining a deeper understanding of Truth and Reconciliation, and how they can each Do Something. Acts of Reconciliation were actioned, through morning territorial acknowledgements, meaningful messaging, and community outreach projects. Students are having thoughtful and impactful discussions, and sharing those with their school communitites. Perhaps one of the greatest lessons learned is that this is not action or reflection for one day - it is for every day.

We will continue to listen and learn.
