Return to School- September 2021

Transportation Changes

With the Return to School in September 2021, the transportation system will no longer have the reduced bus capacities that were introduced as a temporary measure due to COVID 19 during the 2020- 21 school year.

As a result of this, most bus routes will return to the same routing used during the 2019 - 2020 school year.

Should you wish to obtain student transportation information for your child/children, you can do so after August 15, 2021 by doing the following:

· Go to the ASD-N Website http://asd-n.nbed.nb.ca

· Click the Bus Planner icon on the right side of the page

· Click on the Parent Portal icon. You will need to create an account as directed, then add the student’s information (you will need the student’s NBEN number from their Report Card), birth date and home address.

If you do not have internet access or have difficulty obtaining the information, please call the ASD-N District Office Transportation Department at 1-800-661-6667 or 778-6075.

You do not need to call or request bussing for your child/children unless you have moved or are new to the area. All students are registered for bussing if they are eligible to receive bus transportation service.

Schools will not be accommodating any requests for alternate bus stops or bus passes. Students are assigned one pick-up point and one drop-off point, the same stops for every day of the week. The only exception to this will be for shared custody arrangements.

We hope everyone has a great 2021-2022 school year!
