The 2020 Miramichi and Rexton Turnaround Achievement Awards recognize youth from our local schools who have overcome multiple barriers as a result of their effort, commitment, and perseverance and turned their situation around in a positive way.   As well, it also recognizes the unsung heroes – the teachers, parents, and/or counsellors - who spend the time, effort and contribute to the youth’s journey to self-reliance.   In light of the circumstance surrounding COVID-19, and its necessary precautionary measures, we cannot host the traditional banquet associated with this worthy recognition.  We believe, however, that it is imperative that we publicly acknowledge and celebrate these well-deserving youths.
