Participation Invited for Consultation Sessions on Proposed NB Innovative Immersion Program

The Interim Superintendent would like to share the following details on how families and staff can share their input in upcoming consultation sessions for the proposed NB Innovative Immersion Program:

On December 15th, the Minister of Education announced the proposed framework for the New Brunswick Innovative Immersion Program. Since that time, the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD) has been seeking public input on the design of the proposed program.

You may provide input by completing the  survey that is available online. You may also submit feedback via email at consultation.eecd.edpe@gnb.ca.

 

Please be advised that there will also be in-person and virtual public consultations happening over the next two weeks.

 

ASD-N’s public consultation session will take place in Bathurst on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Gowan Brae Golf & Country Club from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

 

Other sessions will take place as follows:

 

- Moncton – Delta Beauséjour on Thursday, January 19, 2023

- Saint John – Delta Saint John on Tuesday, January 24, 2023

- Fredericton – Delta Fredericton on Wednesday, January 25, 2023

- Virtual – Tuesday, January 31, 2023 (information on links to be shared at later date)

- Virtual – Thursday, February 2, 2023 (information on links to be shared at later date)

 

Minister Hogan will launch the consultations with a livestream Q&A on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 7 p.m. The link to join this session can be found on the Government of New Brunswick’s YouTube page.
