Physical Education at Home: Staying Healthy During Covid-19

Although it is necessary at this time to follow directives of Self Isolation and Social Distancing in response to the Covid-19 virus, it is still very important for students to remain physically active. Despite being limited due to the closure of most recreational facilities, there are still numerous activities which can be done to ensure a daily dose of physical fitness is maintained. This may include the following:

  • Taking a walk
  • Going for a hike
  • Playing in your yard
  • Home fitness workout
  • Snowshoeing

There are also a wide range of games, activities and resources available that can assist in ensuring our youth, as well as parents and guardians remain active. Here are some sites that you may find helpful:
