National Indigenous Peoples Day is this Sunday, June 21st.
It is a day for Indigenous Peoples to celebrate and showcase who they are, and a day of prayer to give thanks.
It is important to recognize the many contributions of the First People of this land, and to celebrate their culture and identity.
Elder Donna Augustine from Elsipogtog First Nation has been a long-time valued contributer to the education and growth of ASD-N students and staff. In the attached link, Elder Donna shares a special message with ASD-N students about National Indigenous Peoples Day.
