Gord Downie is in the works of releasing a new album titled "Secret Path." This album is dedicated to residential school student, Chanie Wenjack, who died from starvation during his attempt to runaway from a residential school in Kenora, Ontario. Graphic novelist, Jeff Lemire, will also release a graphic novel to accompany Gord Downie's album in October.

All proceeds from both projects will be donated to the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation.
