On Sunday
June 22, the annual Mango Go for 42 Challenge had its wrap up event on the
streets of Miramichi West. Three hundred and eighty-six area elementary school
students travelled 2.2 kilometers on foot completing a total of 42.2

was held in conjunction with the annual Rock 'n Run road race and was supported
by MANGO and ASD-N and involved elementary schools in the Miramichi area. Based
on a per capita basis Gretna Green Elementary School won the trophy for
greatest participation. All participants were encouraged to continue to make
physical activity part of their daily lives.
