Animated talking picture books, fiction, non-fiction, or graphic novels for K-6. It includes French and Spanish titles as well as puzzles, games, and National Geographic videos. Students with a New Brunswick Library Card can access the site for free.

This site offers Science project ideas in all Science disciplines. There are many projects that use readily available materials or low cost materials. Students should be encouraged to keep a journal or notebook. Students can also plan and carry out an independent investigation based on what they have available at home.
Lesson in Diversity and Awareness: Ms. Burnsbee is an interesting story about a supply teacher and her first impressions. Included are thought provoking questions and extension activities for grades 4-6. The story can be found on pages 60-67.

Read aloud- "Thunder Boy Jr." picture book about a young Indigenous boy and his name. Written by Sherman Alexie.
The Ni'gweg Collective is a youtube channel with a collection of Mi'kmaq and Wolastoqiyik stories/legends with English subtitles. These stories/legends are told by Elder Gilbert Sewell from Pabineau First Nation and other Elders of New Brunswick.

FLORA is a French program that is currently being piloted in thirteen New Brunswick elementary schools. Due to the current situation, the NB Department of Education and Early Childhood Development is releasing fifteen electronic modules from the FLORA program. The modules include a variety of entertaining and educational songs, books and activities. Level 1 is for beginning learners, and the levels progress from there.

This site offers articles and hands-on activities (as well as online games and videos) related to the topics of Weather & Climate, Atmosphere, Water, Energy and Plants & Animals. The instructions could be downloaded and printed, or written out by hand. Students should be encouraged to keep a journal for their inquiry-based science activities.
