On this World Teacher Day, we express our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible teachers. Your passion and dedication shape the future of our students every day. Thank you for inspiring, guiding, and making a difference!
On Monday, September 30th, ASD-N will observe the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This is an important time to reflect on our shared history and honor the survivors of residential schools, their families, and the Indigenous communities affected. We encourage all staff, students, and families to take time on this day to learn and participate in activities that promote understanding and healing.
To all families of our new ASD-N Kindergarten Students:
We are excited to welcome our new learners to our schools very soon.
Horizon Health Network has asked us to remind you that any children who may have missed the pre-school booster or who may require further immunizations still have time to do so before the new school year begins.
If your child did not receive their 4 year-old vaccine, please contact Public Health in your area to make an appointment or to receive further information.
In the Miramichi area, please contact Public Health at 506-778-6102.
Graduation ceremonies have been taking place this week across the District at our eight high schools, and the heat did not dampen the excitement and celebrations!
Congratulations to all of our 2024 graduates from Bathurst High School, Blackville School, Bonar Law Memorial High School, Dalhousie Regional High School, James M. Hill Memorial High School, Miramichi Valley High School, North & South Esk Regional High School, and Sugarloaf Senior High School.
We are very proud of your accomplishments and wish you a safe and happy graduation and prom!
ASD-N honored this year's retirees at retirement dinners in Bathurst and Miramichi this past week.
58 employees will be retiring at the end of this school year, from across many different positions and many parts of the District.
Each and every retiree has played an important role in helping to serve our students, and we are grateful for their years of service and dedication to the education system.
Please see the important message below from Superintendent Dean Mutch concerning an update to this year's school calendar in June.
