Once again, for the 13th year running,  the Miramichi Council of the BellAliant Pioneers and Staples in Miramichi have made a generous donation of school supplies to students in the Miramichi, Harcourt and Rexton areas of Anglophone North School District through their “Backpacks for Kids” program. Along with BellAliant and partner Staples-Miramichi and their customers, 170 book bags stuffed with classroom materials have been prepared for children in elementary school and were delivered to district representatives this past Tuesday. Similar donations are being made in other areas of ASD-N and in other parts of Canada that will see thousands such school kits being distributed.
