District 16 to Host Teachers from Across NB

School District 16 will be hosting the New Brunswick Teachers Association Middle Level Council Day Friday, May 7th at James M. Hill Memorial High School. Middle Level school teachers from across the province will be attending a wide variety professional development sessions throughout the day as well as attending a keynote presentation from motivational speaker Mr. Farley Flex. Mr. Flex has a background in popular music and is a tireless worker on behalf of youth. He isĀ a two timeĀ recipient of the Bob Marley Community Role Model Award, was recently named a National Ambassador for UNICEF and has been appointed to the Special Advisory Council to the League of Human Rights. He is perhaps best known for his role as a judge on the television program Canadian Idol.
