Students from District 16 participated in the annual Grande Digue Road Race on Sunday April 29th.  Five runners in the elementary school category represented St. Andrew’s and Blackville schools and a middle school team represented Dr. Losier school. Race results: 1st place, Alex Jardine of Blackville School;  2nd place Gareth McLean of St. Andrew's School in the Grades 5-6 1,500 metres; 1st place Jenny Cripps of St. Andrews Elementary School in the grades 3-4  1,000 metres; 3rd place, Alex Stockli of Dr. Losier Middle School Boy’s Division; 4th place, Emily Larkin of Dr. Losier in the Middle School Girl’s Division and 2nd overall amongst grade 6 girls.
