Throughout District 16 schools have taken the time this past week to remember those who sacrificed so much in  wartime conflict and peace keeping. Ceremonies were held in all the schools and included  choral performances, poetry recitals, wreath laying  and the  observance of  a minute’s silence. Local veterans were invited as special guests of honour  and as participants  brought a real sense of meaning to all the students .
