The Elementary Literacy Friends (ELF) program is now up and running for the first year at Tide Head School.  ELF is a 10 week, one -on-one tutoring program designed for grade 2 students who need additional support with literacy.  AV Cell (Aditya Birla Group) in Atholville, N.B. has been a great support as the company allows worktime-release for employees who are willing to become ELF tutors.  An AV Cell employee is currently tutoring an ELF student at Tide Head School.  Community School Coordinator Aysleigh Lefurgey is very pleased with the partnership, “AV Cell is a wonderful community partner and ongoing supporter of many ASD-N initiatives in this region! We are very grateful to now have AV Cell involved with the ELF program.”
