International students from Mexico, Colombia and Brazil took advantage of the somewhat milder temperatures Thursday January 10th to enjoy some cross country skiing under the lights at the Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club facilities in Nelson-Miramichi. A little uncertain at first, the students quickly became confident on their skis and appeared to thoroughly enjoy this typical Canadian winter experience. Shown in the photo are; Lise Ringuette - Home Stay Co-ordinator, Juan Vargas - Colombia, Veronica Sandoval Juarez, Andrea Claudeth Novelo Reyes, Fernando Rios Quiroz - Mexico, Kathleen Gadd - Ski Instructor, and Emanuel Carlos Bezerra de Lima - Brazil. The students are attending Miramichi Valley  and James M. Hill Memorial High Schools.
