Once again, for the 12th year running,  the Miramichi Council of the BellAliant Pioneers have made a generous donation of school supplies to students in the Miramichi, Harcourt and Rexton areas of Anglophone North School District through their “Backpacks for Kids” program. Along with BellAliant and partner Staples-Miramichi and their customers, 140 book bags stuffed with classroom materials have been prepared for children in elementary school and were delivered to district representatives this past Monday. Similar donations are being made in other areas of ASD-N and in other parts of Canada that will see a total of 12 000 such school kits being distributed.
