"Gentlemen" (and Ladies) - "Start Your Engines"

The automotive High School Challenge will be held this weekend at the Miramichi Dragway. Cars, prepared by students during their own time, will be entered in this annual provincial racing competition which follows very strict guidelines. Amongst other rules, a vehicle is restricted to a certain speed, school based instructors are with the students the entire time and the cars must pass a rigid inspection before the competition. Rogers TV is preparing a program called 2FAST4U that will include interviews with students at a number of schools and video recordings of their preparations. The event itself will also be included in the program which is expected to be aired in two weeks. Pictured above are the James M. Hill High School entries along with the team.
