The annual District 16 Heritage fair will be held at the Eco Center, Newcastle-Miramichi, on Thursday May 24th from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. Students from across the district will be displaying and discussing their research projects  for both judges and the general public. Everyone is welcome. A special guest this year is Mr. Barry MacKenzie of the New Brunswick branch of the Monarchist League of Canada. This annual event is a wonderful opportunity for students to gain first-hand knowledge about their own personal history and the local area in which they live. The awards presentation is expected to start at about 1:00 pm.
