Fourteen Mexican high school exchange students have been enjoying what a Canadian winter has had to offer Miramichi over the past 10 days. And what a range of temperatures they have had to adjust to. But none-the-less their schedule has included time at host school James M. Hill High, visits to Metepenagiag First Nation, sleigh rides, tobogganing, curling, cross country and downhill skiing, school visits, watching hockey games, watching Irish dancing and a games night at the Golden Hawk Recreation Center. An important feature of the visit is the hospitality the students have been enjoying from the Miramichi host families who have made them feel very much at home. In a few weeks the exchange will be completed when James M. Hill High School students in their turn visit Mexico.
