Andrea Bell, a grade 11 student at Miramichi Valley High School has been awarded second place nationally in the Royal Canadian Legion Remembrance Day contest for poetry in the Senior category. In addition to the certificate recognizing her accomplishment, she received a $500.00 cash prize. Her poem, “Row by Row” is attached below.
