The ASD-N Regional Drama Festival was held at James M.
Hill High School on Tuesday May 12th. Three plays were presented in the morning. "Robin
Hood" was performed by Nelson Rural School. "The Wonders of Storybook Land" was
performed by Napan Elementary School. "The Little Mermaid" was performed by Gretna
Green Elementary School. After lunch workshops were held for the young actors,
conducted by the Theatre Arts students of James. M. Hill. These sessions
covered choreography, make-up, acting skills, set design and performance warm-up
techniques. The adjudicators, Ms. Judy Losier and Mr. Loyd Cameron, complimented
the performers and critiqued their performances with comments that supported
their good work and gave them things to think about in future. To view photos visit Drama Fest.
