Hundreds of area students enjoyed a fun and festive atmosphere on Sunday morning July 4th, and completed their Go for 42 Marathon with a two kilometer run through the streets of Newcastle-Miramichi.  The elementary school runners had run their first 40 kilometers during the final weeks of the school term. The annual event, held in conjunction with the annual Rock 'n Run road race and organized by MANGO, attracted 286 young participants all of whom received a T-shirt in recognition of their accomplishment. MANGO is a local organization of health professionals that exists to encourage healthy lifestyles for people in the Miramichi region. Visit the photo gallery at .
