The 8th annual “Salt of the Earth Artisan and Craft Exposition” was held on July the 27th on La Promenade, Bathurst, supported by Anglophone North School District  and The City of Bathurst.  Artisans and vendors from both Nova Scotia and New Brunswick participated in the event with proceeds going towards “The Spirit of Christmas” campaign for impoverished seniors and the  “Grandmothers of Lesotho, Africa” project.  Included also was a draw for a $500.00 gas card, won by artisan Liz Daley, mother of Carla Roy, an employee with the school district.   Organizers expressed thanks to the many volunteers in Anglophone North School District and the Bathurst community for their help in organizing another successful and well attended event!
