Thirty-six international students attending Miramichi area schools were welcomed to Canada at a gathering held at Miramichi Valley High School Sunday afternoon October 27th.  The students from Colombia, Brazil, China and Mexico enjoyed a drumming session led by local musician Glenn Copeland followed by some Halloween party games and a well rounded pizza meal. Costumes and carved pumpkins added to the Halloween festivities.  ASD-N is hosting 80 international students in total . Visit lengths vary; some are here for twelve weeks, others a complete semester and a few are here for the full school year.
