Monday May 6, 2019 marks the 15th Music Monday nationwide celebration. In classrooms and communities across Canada thousands of teachers and their students will unite their voices in song, singing the Music Monday Anthem, the iconic Hymn To Freedom by Oscar Peterson, as they strive to highlight the importance quality music programming has in their lives.

BHS and SMS are 2 of 3 schools in all of New Brunswick who are officially marking this occasion with an event.  We are very excited about this initiative where students from both schools will get to network, collaborate, and build connections through a love of music.  You are invited to attend a short concert at the end of our collaborative day beginning at 1:30 where BHS and SMS Bands and Choirs will share their own repertoire and come together for the finale anthem as one voice.  The concert takes place at the Gwendolyn Kent Auditorium at BHS.
