Today our diversity is becoming more visible than ever as people continue to embrace their cultures, identities, and true selves in more open and direct ways; making the need to Lift Each Other Up and have greater acceptance, respect, and inclusion for everyone so important.
Bullying is a major problem in our schools, workplaces, homes, and online. Pink Shirt Day aims to raise awareness of these issues, while various organizations also raise funds to support programs that foster children’s healthy self-esteem.
With one in five students affected by bullying, chances are that you or someone you know is being impacted. If you’re not sure what to do, reach out to someone who can help.
