Several Anglophone North District schools arranged for their
students to collect food items for local food banks when they visited their
neighbours on Halloween. Most food bank inventories are getting quite low according
to recent media reports. The Miramichi Food Bank for instance, is presently supporting more
than 400 familes and so the organization was very grateful when 2 district
schools delivered more than 1.8 metric tonnes of non-perishable food on
November 1st. Please visit Delivering to the Food Bank
