Capturing the Beauty of Nature

Posted: March 14, 2013

Adrienne Elfner-Hazen, an artist living in Bathurst, is working with students at Tide Head School through the Artist-in-Residency School Program.  Using different kinds of media and various techniques she is teaching the young artists to capture the beauty of nature in their own works of art. Their artwork will be displayed at the Campbellton Centennial Library, at an art show entitled "Outside Our Window - The Changing Landscapes of Northern New Brunswick," which will take place on Friday, March 22nd at 10:30 am.  The young artists and the Artist-in-Residence will be on-hand to discuss their pieces and share their creative artistic techniques. The Artist-in-Residency School Program is supported by the NB Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and the  NB Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture.
