Keeping yourself safe while being active. Here are some great safety tips for when you being physically active. 1. Wear proper footwear like sneakers when running or playing sports2. If you are going to be outdoors, remember to apply sunscreen to prevent sunburn3. Bring a water bottle to keep hydrated and prevent overheating4. If you are biking, rollerblading, skateboarding, etc., be sure to wear your helmet. This is the final week of the Go for 42 Challenge. Be active and strive to accumulate 40 kms. Be sure to register for the Mango Kids Fun Run which will be on Sunday, June 23rd at 10:30. Registration begins at 9:30. Lace up your shoes, get active and see you at the Fun Run!
