One hundred and twelve ASD-N students were among the more than 1200 grades 7, 8 and 9 students from across the province who recently participated in the annual New Brunswick Math Competition. Held at 5 locations throughout the province, young mathematicians from 160 schools accepted the challenge presented by the Department of Mathematics & Statistics of the University of New Brunswick and the Faculty of Science and the School of Engineering of the Université de Moncton with the sponsorship of the New Brunswick Department of Education, on Friday May 9th. Placing first amongst the ASD-N students for: grade 9 Vasili Osipau, Bathurst High School, grade 8 Alex Douthwright of Campbellton Middle School and Zoe Tozer of North and South Esk Regional High, and grade 7 Josh Jardine of Millerton.
