A Community Project at EWG

With the generous support of the local community, Eleanor W. Graham Middle School in Rexton has created a special room called a Multi-sensory Environment. An opening ceremony was held at the school on Monday December 15th. Children in the community with special needs are invited to make use of this space that utilizes multi-sensory equipment to amongst other things stimulate the senses and promote feelings of well-being. Community support for the project was received from President's Choice Children's Charity, The Cartier Co-op Foundation, Rexton Lions Club, Advance Savings Rexton, Rexton Fire Department, Richibucto Furniture, Imperial Sheet Metal, student Ali Sturgeon, as well as all the  students and staff of EWG.
