The girls’ AA basketball team of Sugarloaf Senior High School, Campbellton, and the boys’ AAA basketball team of Miramichi Valley High School, Miramichi, have been recognized with the 2015  Fairplay Award presented by Basketball New Brunswick and the New Brunswick Interscholastic Athletic Association.  This award recognizes the coaches of the respective teams for their leadership in developing a sense of sportsmanship and the “on court” fair play demonstrated by the players. The awards will be presented at the Final 12 Provincial Basketball Championships to be played at Harbour Station, Saint John, February 20th and 21st.  (ASD-N’s James M.
