The Deputy Minister and Assistant Deputy Ministers from EECD visited a couple of Miramichi schools earlier today. They had the chance to tour facilities and engage with students, and participated in a great discussion where lots of feedback and ideas were shared.

BHS Rotary Interact students placed flags on Veterans' graves in the Bathurst area this week, to honour their service and sacrifice.
Schools in ASD-N is observing Orange Shirt Day on September 29th, as part of the Truth and Reconciliation Week. The day and week honours the lost children and survivors of the residential school system, as well as their families and communities.
Kindergarten registration in Anglophone School District North for September 2024 will be taking place from October 10th- 13th.
Registration is for children who will turn 5 before December 31, 2024.
Please call your community school between now and October 6th to make an appointment.
At the time of your appointment, you will be required to go into the school to complete registration. Please provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate, proof of immunization and Medicare card.
HIgh Schools across Anglophone North School District have been hosting graduation ceremonies and events this week. While events may look different from school to school, the celebrations will be meaningful for all.

Anglophone School District North celebrated PSSC members at the annual PSSC Appreciation Dinner, held on May 9th at Gowan Brae Golf and Country Club in Bathurst. District staff and District Education Council members were on hand to welcome guests. Dr. Tiffany Bastin, Assistant Deputy Minister with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, was the special guest.
