Students – July 12-18, 2015
L’Istorlet Centre Nautique is a wonderful
facility located on the southern side of the island of Havre-Aubert, Îles
de-la-Madeleine, Quebec. The six- day residential camps for Immersion students
ages 12-14 and 15 to 17 years, will provide a full schedule of exciting
activities featuring; sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, windsurfing, bird and seal

Month.

A number of ASD-N schools have participated recently in the GREAT
BIG CRUNCH. March is Nutrition Month organized by the Dieticians of Canada, and to mark the occasion
school-wide apple eating events with students crunching into apples emphasises
the importance of natural unprocessed foods being an important part of everyone’s
diet. Ian Baillie Primary School in
Miramichi invited ASD-N School Superintendent Beth Stymiest to their event which
they held in conjunction with previously postponed Pink Shirt Day. To see

The first of three ASD-N Science, Technology, Engineering
and Math (STEM) Fairs was held on Wednesday last at Superior Middle School in
Bathurst. Thirty participants from Campbellton Middle School, Dalhousie Middle
School, Jacquet River School and Superior Middle School displayed very well prepared
projects for judging and seemed delighted and proud to explain their work that
represented a diversity of interests. Twelve of the projects were selected to
participate in the River Valley Regional Science Fair in Fredericton on April
Anglophone North School District is pleased to announce that the 2015 CUTE Awards will be held at the James M. Hill High School Theatre on Wednesday, March 18th, 2015. The annual CUTE (Creative Use of Technology in Education) Awards is an event that recognizes and encourages the creative use of technology by students and teachers in ASD-N classrooms.
