On October 24th the Campbellton Rotary Club held mock polio clinics at both Lord Beaverbrook School and Tide Head School. Rotary members used purple ink on students’ pinkie fingers as part of a polio awareness campaign. The purple ink represented a topical dye called gentian violet which is used in developing countries by Rotary International to show which children have received polio vaccinations.
